Insurance & Payment


Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, counselling sessions may be covered in full or in part. Prior to arranging your first visit, I encourage you to verify how your plan may compensate you for psychotherapy services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does my plan cover sessions provided by Master Practitioners in Clinical Counselling, Registered Professional Counsellors or Canadian Certified Counsellors?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Professional Designations:
It is advised that if health plan/insurance coverage reimbursement is a critical element of you seeking support, that you call in advance to ensure my credentials are approved.
